Client interviewing is a recently developed strategy but it’s root is very deep. Our success in helping our clients often depends on how effective we are in developing a strong professional relationship with the clients.

Client interview is that act by which an advocate knows the facts, problem of his clients.

Objective

1. To know the fact of the case.

2.To build a strong professional relationship between Advocate and client.

3.To give effective solute of the legal problem.

What can we do in client interviewing?

1.An Advocate must be a good listener.

2.He must communicate with the client as simply as possible.

3.He may raise relevant questions to know the fact properly.

4. Advocate must introduce him/herself properly before the client.

5. Advocate must fixed a time schedule for his client.

6.He must maintain a good conduct and eye contact with his client.

7. Advocate may take necessary notes of important points.

8.He may discuss the all provable solution of the current problem.

9.Advocate must disclose the strength and weakness of the current problem.

10.He must discuss about the cost of the case/suit.

11.Advocate must martial the fact chronologically.

12.Advocate must ensure a relax and comfortable situation for his client.

13. Advocate may act like a good friend.

What is forbidden during client interviewing?

1.Advocate must not use any legal term.

2.Don’t show overconfidence.

3. Never show your advocacy before client.

4.Don’t misguide the client.

5.Don’t write down everything.

6.Never ask any irrelevant question to the client.

7.Never run here and there rather sit before the client.

8.Never interrupt the client unnecessarily.

9.Never hide any a weakness of the problem.
